I got mine on eBay for $399.20 with free next day air shipping. Pretty sweet deal in my opinion. You can search for "Edge Ram 07" and it should show.

I believe only the '06 and up Hemi's have the MDS in the 1500 only.

you'll notice your mpg increase. also you may notice a small rise in rpms. if you get an aftermarket exhaust ignore the first two suggestions; you'll hear it.
I wholeheartedly agree, I must ask, does it really matter whether it's in 4 or 8?

Chrysler tried hard
to make the MDS going in and out
as undetectable and fast as possible
and it looks like they succeeded.

They did this because the other way of making highway MPG better
...shifting in and out of mulitiple overdrive gears....
really annoyed certain customers
especially on hills.

the MDS will not kick in while the truck is having to power constantly like going up hills or pulling trailers. if you're goin down the interstate @ 80 it'll kick in and the only way to tell is u can see the rpm's slowly goDOWN but it doesn't go down much. it won't make a noise or jerk. and the MDS only comes in chrysler vehicles with hemi's like the durango, which the first vehicle they had MDS in, and ram 1500 for example.
