My truck is my daily driver, and I love it. I sit high enough to see everything in traffic, I love the big vehicle feel and the V8 power, and honestly, Im a bit claustraphobic and can't stand being in small cars. I've also been rear-ended twice, and both times (first a civic, then a prius) the other drivers found out that the trailer hitch is not a bumper. Poor guys, both of em smashed the front facia of thier cars, and there isn't a scratch on my truck

 

I bought mine because with a house, 2 kids and a car hobby that borders on stupid to support I needed something to tow and haul with since I sold my 1990 Bronco back in 2005. I had to sell my 2001 Cobra to make room in the budget for the truck. I miss it dearly. I need to get a clutch into the Alfa so I can get my sports car fix again.

Edit: forgot my age. I'll hit the big 40 this October.

 

Bought mine for work, and for my boat. The lifetime warranty steered me into the Dodge lot though, as I average about 40-45k miles a year with my job, and a 100,000 won't take me too long to put on. Don't regret my decision to buy her one bit, so far has been a great asset.

She's my daily driver, my work horse, and my play toy... Great combo...

And I'm not exactly sure why we are putting our age up on here, but I'm 25...

I bought my truck 1 to get outta the car I had I felt like my *** was always dragging the ground, and 2, because I was doing HVAC at the time and needed the truck to haul tools and material all over the Delmarva Peninsula. And I hate cars.

 

I am 18, and I bought mine to haul my brother and sister around and for yard work at my grandma's house.

36 and always liked trucks over cars. At some point everyone needs the use of a good truck and they are more than willing to pay you to borrow it.

 

33 here. I bought mine because not only did I need a truck that will tow a travel trailer, but I needed a vehicle that will last a long time. I don't plan on trading this thing in for awhile. Also, like Sir Hardin Thicke, I like trucks over cars. Hell, I wouldn't even know what car to buy.

 

I'm 33 and replaced my 97 Dodge due to it's age, milage, and early transmission problems. Most of my driving is commuting to and from work (EMS), but I also used my truck to haul feed and pull trailers for the farm. When I started looking for a replacement truck, I decided that a truck that could pull and carry alittle more was needed. I also needed a vehicle that was just as comfortable to drive as my old truck. Basically, I was in need of an all purpose vehicle. I felt that the 2008 Ram MC offered that ability.
