I was telling a buddy of mine at work about how superchips dose not support the 05 4.7. He also has a 04 Ram and he told me has a jet chip that made huge gains on his truck. I check out the site and they have one for the 4.7 auto 03-08...for like $300 anyone have one or know about it>

I bought mine at http://www.rpmoutlet.com/ for $199.95, got the stage II chip. A lot of people bash the stage I chip and say it is a waste of money, but the Stage II actually works. It does require premium, but I'm getting 2-3 mpg more, more power and much better shifts, so I think it's worth the extra twenty cents a gallon. As much as I drive my truck, getting an extra 50 to 60 miles out of each tank will pay for the jet chip in about four months.

 

I talked to a guy at superchips in octoberabout a tuner for my 06 RAM. he said there were no plans at the time but maybe after the first of the year. I like superchips because you can also use it to read codes where as the jet chip just gets plugged in. power and fuel efficiency gains are similar though. just my 2 cents.

 

I Am In The Same Boat.. 05' 4.7. I Was Heart Set on The Jet Chip, But I Leanred on Here That After Time The Computer Tends' To Relearn and Bypass The Chip Anyway. I Figured That Being True With Stage I.

Stage II I Personally Am Hesitant on Paying For Premium, and With My Foot, I Can't Imagine Gaining Enough MPG To Consider The Trade Off.

I've got a fairly heavy foot, and 90% of my driving is city stop/go traffic, and like I said, I'm getting 2-3 mpg better than I was.

 

they don't make superchip for our year but one might be on the way.

 

I really want to get one of these but I can't justify spending that much on one. Especially with the rumor that the PCM learns itself back after some time.
