Default Best air charger

A lot of people seem to like metal cold air intakes.....this is stupid the whole point of a cold air intake is to deliver cold air....why would you get a metal piped intake when plastic disapates engine heat so much better..... just some random thought that I had......

For me it's the look. It's bad enough my 4.7 has a plastic intake manifold. I don't like to pop the hood and see plastic everywhere. My K&N intake is nice and (mostly) shiny.

while the engine running hotter and the metal can heat up so the air would get lil bit warmer tha could reduce performance. just a thought
