You should have good success with the mat; I purchased the DashMat - UltiMat model in the matching Taupe color for my Ram. I installed it on my truck when it was new in 05' and have been very pleased with the looks and protection. Here in Texas the sun literally eats your dash and I learned that lesson from previous experiences with Rams. I didn't even use the tape and velcro to secure the mat, I just installed it during our 100+ summer days and let it form to every contour of the factory dash. It does not slip at all, still looks new and the factory dash underneath is flawless and fresh.
