Hey - I know this sounds impatient and there is a bit to that, as I am going to the dealership tonight.
So if it's important to you then do the research yourself. Don't get impatient waiting for everyone to drop everything they have going and help you.
Sorry if you feel this way. I thought I made it clear that I built the Ram on the websites (both Canada and the US), and yahoo'ed the crap out of 'TRX.' Never expected everyone or anyone to drop what they were doing, but by looking at the number of ppl on the board replying to threads I figured someone knew more than me, which is pretty much everyone on this board.

Thx though for taking the time to reply.

they might have special pricing on that particular truck... some dealers have incentives on some vehicles and not others, which might be the reason behind the cheaper price. If you're happy where you are with the price, then I would shoot for a couple hundred more - I'msure they're still making money. Also make sure you're looking at total truck price and not just monthly payments... if it's monthy payments you're solely looking for, go with an 72, 75, or 80 month term.
Yeah not sure. Thing is they got the TRX from another dealership, about 150km away ("bought it from there.")

It wasn't so much monthly payments, but I knew they were off by 100$+ from what they should have been at. They ended up throwing in a box cover and went 1/2 on the steps. I'm sure I got jacked a bit but far better than originally.

I’d be willing to bet it’s an 07 model their trying to get rid of. Also, if it’s a TRX, it doesn’t necessarily make it an stx barebones model. There are SLT TRX’s which would be the same interior features as the Big Horn minus the chrome grill and 20’s. But then again it could be a barebones stx. Lol But the dealership should be able to e-mail you the sticker that is on the truck or at least the link to the dealership it’s coming from. You can look it up in their inventory that way.
It turned out to be an '08.

I'm going to get the specs tomorrow but it turned out to be pretty much the SLT without the chrome grill and the 20s as you said. Not barebones by any means.

Thx everyone for the responses. I'm going to chalk it up to being prepared to walk out and the sales guy dropping his price to make it happen. Sounds like it might've been a decent deal.

might of went down because its a popular equipment ground or whatever.

Like its cheaper to get a big horn/lone star package, than to add all that stuff it comes with
