Thumbs down don't get Mds

I have a 2008 dodge ram quad cab and the MDS kicks in at 18mph and will drive you crazy. My dad has the same problem with his 2007 ram. The dealership wont turn the mds off, have to get a superchip to turn it off.

My C has it and I like it. The Ram doesn't ('03). The C gets a pinch over 21 mpg at 80 mph. Better if I could restrain myself (which I can't).

Call me a sentimental fool but I like the idea of saving fuel when not needed. Ialso don't mind the sound my 50 series makes when applied, blackshadow, have you noticed when the mds goes on an off, in relation too highway driving??

yes I have and when you don't have the light you never even notice it but now that I have the light and I am watching it come on and off I can feel it but you really have to pay attention to it, it come on and off so fast you don't even realize it, I got good gas millage before the cover and then after the cover it went up two more miles to the gallon when you go on long trips.

Default Hi Blackshadow

I have never gotten over 19 in my truck and that is running supreme gas. Although we have a lot of hills to go over in washington to go from one side of the state to the next. My wife has the Aspen with the Hemi and she has no problems at all, for some reason I can feel the MDS kick in everytime. I have duel exhaust and a cold air intake. I am thinking about getting the superchip to turn the mds off and see how that does. Is your truck a 4x4, looks lower to the ground. Very nice
