Non MDS hemi's is Yes, as for the Hemi's with the MDS, I do beleive that 5w20 is the only oil. 5w20 is the only one allowed in the truck's manual for the MDS.

This is upto you, but if you have the MDS, i'd stick with 5w20 or go with *5w30 synthetic*

Do you have the Hemi with MDS or not, On what I can understand is that the MDS needs a ligther oil and since you can say that syn. oil is ligther (less dense) than reg. oil 5w30 syn. should be equal to 5w20 reg. in thickness only. If it was me, I'd go for it, but not sure what would happen if something goes wrong. migth want to wait and see what others have to say!!!

1500 series do, but the 2500 + don't and I beleive the megacab's don't have them either.

The consensus is correct here, non MDS is 5w-30 and MDS is 5w-20 and is such a big deal to Chrysler that my neighbor with an '06 QCSB Hemi 4x2 was told by the local Dodge dealer here, that if he is found to have 5w-30 in it that it will void his engine warranty.
A VERY BIG issue with you "Lifetime Powertrain Warranty" guys...
