code issue

Hi All,
I just pulled a P0463 Fuel level sending unit, voltage too high code after the cel came on. What does this mean and how can I fix it.
03 Hemi 1500 P/U. I was driving along and the fuelgauge went dead and the lightcel cameon. No drivability problems. Any suggestions.

RE: code issue

The circuit shortage to voltage between the PCM and fuel gauge sending unit. I believe you need to replace the fuel sending unit.

Sorry forgot to add that fuel gauge was ok after i stopped and restarted again. Lite went out over night.
