Ok my fiance will not let me get a flowmaster muffler cus its to loud and I have been pulled over alot in in my old car for it being loud. I saw a clip on youtube of a hemi with a magnaflow set up that souned really good at idle and had a nice growl while eccelerating. My question is ...If i put a magnaflow on my 4.7 stock single pipe how would it sound? Any clips would be nice

If flowmaster is what you want they do make quieter versions....you have to pick the right series for you. On their site it describes the diff series's and gives you a little graph of interior/exterior noise. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/mufflers.html

 

I have a magnaflow catback & only ran a single 3" out. I think it sounds pretty good. Although it does drone in the cab a little, but worth it.
