Air Ram intake
I saw one of his intakes on Ebay, and then i found their web page. Does anyone here have one on their truck? how did you like it. Heres a link to their intake. Looks pretty decent, and its a 4 incher.

Air Ram spent several years bragging about
how great the gains were with his
"Air_Ram" cai
and his 'Jetstream Scoop' thingy,
then a Chrysler employee who worked in their
dyno room offered to test these 'genius' inventions
on the official Chrysler shaft dynos
......and suddenly Nick was finding all kind of
excuses about how busy he was and how he
could not send ANY of the thousand or more intakes
he claimed to have sold for testing.
Finally another curious forum owner took his Air Ram cai off
and sent it to the Chrysler employee (Dodge3471)
who tested it on the dynos
and found that it did not do squat.
And that is not the only problem with the Air Ram !
...apparently Nick does not understand why all the automakers
have gone to 'constant tension' hose clamps
and therefore his AirRam cai filter has a bad habit:
it can fall off and disappear,
as this
"airram intake filter gone"
post at another forum recounts:

Why repost all this?
It shows the impressive power of internet forums
to expose the bad guys
and their products perform
...given a little time & a few 'true american spirit' volunteers.
There is an old proverb:
"The Truth will Out"
The free flow of information on the internet is making that more true,
in fact you could re-write the proverb now as:

If I understand the info on the website correctly, the actual AirRam intake is no longer available. The current offeringis a Spectre 4" diam. intake which Nick says is the next best thing to his original AirRam. The scoop and heat shield are the same parts as the original.
By the way, it appears he has addressed the possibility of the filter falling off with an optional filter retention device.
