A good, safe investment.
well, i finally went out to buy something for the truck other than gas. i bought a mopar locking gas cap and a bully tail gate lock. obviously the gas cap went on with ease. take the old one off, pop in the new one. done. the tail gate lock would have taken me literally 10 minutes but since i didnt have an 8mm ratchet, it took longer because i asked my neighbor and it took him a while to find one. lol. anyways, im just very pleased i got to finally start doing something to my truck after holding out a while and keep on saying i was gonna do this or that. so yeah, i feel good
i hope these things really work though
. lol, they better!! if not, thatd be a waste of $50. oh, i bought them both at the dealer. i know i can order online for like $20 for both, but i dont mind because
1. i wanted it NOW,
2. $50... psh!,
3. i was itching to buy them for the longest time and needed to see them hand on before buying.
so yeah, buy them if you have $30-50 (eBay-dealer)

I have the locking gas cap too. It was the only thing I missed from my car I had to pop the door from inside the vehicle. Gives me an extra feeling of security. nobody can steal gas, **** in tank etc.. I didn't get a tailgate lock because I have a soft tonno.
yes, i got a black one. it was simple to install. took a bit longer, but worth the effort. and about the gas cap, i had the same thoughts red. the pissing and stealing. i saw some peeps stealing gas on my street a while back. i wanted to get one but i kept forgetting. i never felt like driving back towards the dealer when i passed it. but yeah, good investment
