Default Rear Locker

This will be my first post. I've got a 06' 1500 shortbed, 4x4 4.7L. I have looked everywhere for a rear locker and they don't seem to make one for my year!!! Does anyone know where I can get one!! I went to the dealer and asked for the build sheet and to my disapointment, he told me how I have an open differential.....Any advise will be much appreciated!!

Thanx all

I am guessing you have the Chrysler 9.25 in the rear - here is a link to 4wheelparts.com - for a detroit locker.

You shouldnt have a problem finding a locker for your setup

Unless your truck is a weekend play off-road toy, DO NOT put a locker in the rear diff. Not practical at all for a daily driver. Stick with a good aftermarket LSD like the Detroit TruTrac or the Auburn Gear LSD.

I know that lockers in the rear are a PIA for DD's but what about the front axle?

IFS - is independent front suspension - SFA - means solid front axle - all half tons come with IFS - and 3/4 tons and 1 tons as well as 1/2 ton Mega Cabs only come with a SFA.
