Firestone Air Bags. DIY Included...
I haven't checked out brands yet but i have seen those that have a built in compressor and work off a remote control.... seems to me that would be the class but I'll have to see if they are heavy duty double bagged.... $650 installed at the local 4X shop so probly 1/2 that in real cost.

And here is the pump you can purchase seperately.. LINK
I have a compact air compressor that runs off the 12v system, so i opted out for the pump. Don't need to change it incab. Although a nice idea... Doesn't seem worth 175... not when my little aircompressor only cost me $60... and get upto 180 psi...

When you get them, can you please make a DIY? I plan to get some after the snow melts.
Thanks

I received the kit yesterday evening, and will be installing them this afternoon. I did NOT buy the compressor kit, as it is as much as the bags. It is on the list of next purchases, but as my finances are limited, I went with functionality and will focus on convenience later. I will be taking pictures along the way and i will do my best to make a step by step tonight and tomorrow. I hope to have a finalized post by Monday midday.... If you have questions, or other requests just message me.
Thanks,

yep i put my air fittings on the same spot on the rear bumper just on the other side. I kept blowing lines becuase my exhaust got super hot so I routed them through the frame rails and use industrial strenght 18 wheeler's lines. Their black. When I tow my trailer. It sits level while even ford f250s sag. These things should come factory.
yea they should come factory as an option. Mine came with heat shielding to put over the airline. I've driven it quite a bit since i installed them and don't think i will have a melting issue. I have them a good distance away from the exhaust. I wanted to put a valve on each side of the place, but with the trailer plug, it didn't really fit. The nicest thing about these airbags, I started after i ate lunch at 12:30. I was done by 1:45 that includes cleanup and everything. it is SO EASY to install. So even though they don't make this a factory option, it is really no trouble to buy a set and install them. It took me longer to put in my CAI. Many people ask what mod's to do first... I'd say Bags, Cai, Exhaust, programmer, everything else. Thse bags are awesome. I have a 3000# trailer empty. I put the work van on it (econoline E250) bringing the total weight to about 9000#. I inflated the bags to 55psi, (they can handle 100psi max; and can hold 50 lbs for every 1 psi. so 55psi = 2750 lbs of additional suspension strength) and it was back to the empty heigth. They are great!
