Alright. I have an 05 Ram 1500 with 4.7, six speed. I have a problem though. It has a slapping noise coming from the bottom of the dash it sounds like, but it is only between 3000 and 3600 rpm in first and second untill it warms up. once its warm it stops. I was wondering if anyone may know what it is. I was told that their may be a flap that acts as a restrictor to warm the motor up faster in the exhaust(where the spring was worn out). Has anyone heard of this and if you have, do you know where it is or if their are more, where they are located? thanks.
