Spindle lift
Hey all I'mleaning towards lifting my "Brandie". I know I had thought about lowering it a little, but too many negative feed backs on the lowering thing. Bad ride, messed up springs and all. It’s a TRUCK raise it!! I’ve been reading the pros and cons on the spacers and the spindles and it sounds like the spindles are the way to go. I was wondering how hard is the 3" spindle swap and did anyone who did the spindle swap have to get longer brake lines for both the front and the back. I know that you have to put 2-3" blocks in the back. I'm pretty mechanical so I’m sure I can do it myself. I’m also curious about using the factory 17” aluminum wheels or not. Will I need to upgrade to a 18-19” wheels. I just want to do a tire and lift swap only. I’d like to save a little bit of $$ if possible. Any ideas on a good 33" tire on the stock rims would be helpful too. Thanks, H-
lower it. itll look sick lowered. my friend has a 2005 quad cab with 24's lowered with airbags in car shows across the country. it won plenty of 1st place awards. plus, its in SWIFT car club, where almost all the hip-hop stars join with their rides too. lower it. lol.
Hey there oefootball_70 I've got 2wd I'm not going to be off roading it too much just the ocational dirt back roads and towing a trailer every so often I was wondering about the stockwheels rubbing or any else special. I'm going to check out the posts from prefectlytuned in the V6 section too.
Good deal, as far as tires, I cant complain...My 33" Bridgestone A/t Dueler REVO's are perfect...I changed my rims but I stayed with a 17" size....The ride so far is perfect
