Default '06 Speedometer Question

I have to install a different speedometer cluster because mine was damaged in an attempted theft of my Nav System.

Does anyone know if I will retain my mileage on the old unit because it was likely stored on my computer?

Or will it reflect the mileage of the replacement unit?

I already know about the many different units available & the TMU on the title.

Thanks in advance.

Any ideas on my previous post?

I found a cluster but it has too many miles if it stays the same as it is now.

Dodge house has no idea if miles are stored in the computer or not.

I can only go off of logic and say once installed it'll revert to what the CPU in the dodge had. Otherwise it be pretty easy to lie about mileage on your veh when selling it buy just buying a unit with lower mileage.

True, Your Milage is saved to your CPU and NOT your cluster. You can switch as many times as you want and you will retain the same milage.
