Default MPG

I got a 03 Dodge Ram 1500 and it has the 5.9 and i was wondering how many miles per gallon do y'all get because mine is around 7mpg.

Is that hand calculated or Overhead calculated?

I get around 14 in town, and around 17 on the hyw.

I have no mods and its city but i do around 40 miles a week and i fill it up with regular 87 octane and it cost me about $40 to fill it up all the way.

Try using 89 octane gas.Get an intake it should help out some.9 mpg sounds really bad for a stock 5.9.Do you drive the truck like you stole it or lightly feather the gas?

7 mpg seems insanely low. I would change the air filter, oil, plugs, and wires to start with. I would also thing about running some fuel injector cleaner through your fuel system too.
