i removed both my cats today off of my 05 ram hemi and seems to be fine drove it all day burned about a 1/4 tank and at the very end right before i got home the engine light thing came on but still idles fine and runs great and sounds really awesome like sick nasty..haha my kind of words to describe it. actually picked up some power to but if you dont like loud i wouldnt recommend... but has anyone else done that and wanna put some input in??

 

You're prob throwing a P0420 and P0430 code, both are cat low efficency codes...o2 sims or a tuner will get rid of them.

 

where can i get those o2 sims at?? because its not bothering me that the code is up there but do you actually think it will mess something up if i dont get the fake o2s or tuner and just leave it like it is??

 

No it should be fine if you leave it the way it is....the light might get a little annoying though. You also won't pass smog but with the cats gone you won't pass anyway.

 

yea your right it is a little annoying.. well i am getting a tuner anyways with the headers so that should take care of the light.. and i live in southern mississippi so they dont give a sh*t about that stuff anyways.. haha i used to have a 92 2 door tahoe with longtubes and striaghts all the way back.. you talk about loud. ha really annoying is what it was
