Default Llumar Tints

Hey all. I have a questioin about the Llumar tints.. I was planning to get them done next week but had some questions first.. First of all using the Llumar would 15% percent match the rears the best or do you most agree that 20% is closer? Secondly, how is the wear and tear? I was recommended to get was tint protectors installed for an extra 40 dollars. Have any of you used them and is it really worth the extra money?? Thanks for the help!!!

Llumars a good brand. Can't comment on the exact match to your tint without seeing it. The tinit protectors are not worth it if your talking about a coating on the tint or felt pads on your weatherstrip. A good tint of quality (like Llumar) installed properly should not need it, and unless you purposely damage it, should be covered under warranty.

Llumar and 3M are the best tint IMO. Def. don't buy that extra stuff because yeah, it is lifetime warranty. Had it on my last car for 3 years, looked the same as the day it was installed. It'll never turn purple on you

there's a tint measuring tool that the cops have, they roll the window down halfway and rest it on it and it measures the amount of light let in. I'm sure the tint place has something similar or should know what your factory tint is.
