I have a 04 1500 QC 4x4 5.7l with 90000 miles.A while back it was starting to idle rough on start up and the ETC light would come on. I cleaned the throttle, replaced the EGR valve, all spark plugs and air filter. The rough idle went away for a few weeks, but now its back. It only does it right when the truck starts. I'm thinking of just putting a whole new throttle body on and seeing if that clears it up, but I'm not sure if i have to get the new throttle body "programmed" after I install it. Has anyone done this or can anyone shed some light?

I don't know if you have to or not, I have never know of that being done.
