Default SUPERCHIPS BS, CRAP CUSTOMER SERVICE AND

Engineers must be high, lol

I want to know if someone else here can answer my question also.

I have a tuner for my Dodge Ram (2002 5.9 gas) 1500 New Body Style,
Ibelieve its the 3715 model, any ways the flimsy manual SAYS...
and I HAVE ALREADY USED IT ALSO AND SEEN IT.
That the tuner can be tuned "manually" I can also have it done w/their preset "best" tunes
BUT THAT,I can raise the speed limit to 116 MPH and I think the other one was 124, "MY CHOICE"..
thats not an issue but it still had the 2 DIFFERENT mph CHOICES.
Then the RPM's could be raised 500 rpms more,
at intervals of 1-200 RPMs at a time,
till U got up to 500 (max)etc.. more than stock.
and the tires as well can be tuned half inch at a time to larger than stock.
Well all of a sudden it does not allow me to do it and they (engineers, from all ppl) thats how its supposed to work. PRESET.
I remind them of theMANUAL,
Theytell me that the Manual is, WRONG,
and that if I hadtuned it manually b4, it was by mistake.
I used a buddies and his toowas put onmanually mode, and worked fine.
Not to mention when it's "superchip's self appointed expert mode" I have no clue if the speed limiter is at 116 or the max.

Doesanyone else herehappen to know any thing about this,
or if U know any one who has one also that tunes it manually ?

I asked (Superchips). R U are telling me that U have been selling these tuners for yrs now and no one has called to ask why the manually says "Manual Tuning is done like this." but
their tuner is not working, manually ?
That means all the manuals are wrong, all Ur ads are wrong and NO ONE HAS EVER HAD A PROBLEM EXCEPT ME ?
His answer was, yes, lol

Damn me,(Sorry about my "Canadian," lol) I have never seen more inept set of techs in my life than at Super chips. To think that 3 engineers with a combined 20 yr work record working for S-chips all answerd me at once to tell me that I was wrong
and they were right (But their manuals are also wrong) is scary.
The fellow who sold me the Tuner told me he was selling it because he was sick and tired of the Customer Service Personel, Now I know what he means.
I even mentioned that to them that they seem to have a horrible track record on msg boards and they were "surprised."
Do Urselves a FAVOR and stay away from Superchips, They have no idea what is happening, I now have a Hypertech one and although U can not "adjust" the height on the tires it does everything else Supechips says it does, but it does it also manually...........JUST LIKE THEIR MANUAL SAYS ALSO, LOL
Go figure.
Thanks.
Zoi

I'm not a Superchips fan either, I bought it because they verbally promised me that "custom tunes" were in the works, which is what I needed. Then, after plopping down almost $500 for it and bugging them about a release for custom tunes, they abruptly dropped the plan.
Problem is, until the Diablo and SCT are out and working as promised, the Superchips is the best tuner on the market for Hemi trucks...

I wasn't a Superchips fan either.I only bought it because they were the only ones that offered it for a 4.7L.The tuners have different options for different motors.I was pissed I couldn't adjust the RPMs on my 4.7L and on the hemi you could.I am guessing it all depends on the engine. And +1 on there crappy Customer Service.
