Default Mixing up speaker brands?

I just put a set of 6x9 pioneers in my single cab and its really nice but the back 5 1/2's still sound like crap mostley the distorted bass it sends out. My brother has alpines that would fit what do you think?

that amp is way too much power for speakers. its ment for subs. you need a 70wx4 rms amp.

1400 x 4? x2?

A Mono Amp Wont Help You. If Your Running 2 Different Sets of Speakers It Will Be To Your Advantage To Have Them on A Seperate Channel For Tuning..

mixing up speakers isnt a problem. as long as the fronts are all the same and the backs are all the same. make sure the amp you are using is not a mono block. mono blocks are for subs only. find out the RMS of the front and rear speakers. if theyre all around the same RMS range, get a 4 channel amp and push it to all 4 speakers. so a small amp doing about 50-90RMSx4 would be perfect. average would be around 75RMSx4.
