Default new Ram owner

I am a new Ram owner, well at least since last Friday. I purchased an 03 Ram Quad with the 4.7. I am sure that everyone in this forum has asked these questions about mpg. I am still working on my first full tank so I dont know the actual mpg but the computer is telling be about 13 in all city driving. How much hp increase can I expect from a K&N? Also my exaust sounds almost like a flowmaster but as far as I can tell its completely stock. If I were to add a FM what model would give me the lowest deepest sound? Does anyone have experience with FM and any hp improvements there or mpg? By the way it only has 49k miles on it. Thanks for any help. I really like this forum.

If I read anymore questions Im gonna shoot myself. But you going for a K&N CAI or just drop in. CAI should give you about 8 and enhance your exhaust sound. Not to fam with Flowmaster. Oh and [sm=welcomesign.gif]

I also forgot one of my questions. When I shift from P to D there is a clicking sound that lasts for about 1 second almost like a bzzzz. It comes from the tranny I think. Is this a common sound or should I be concerned about it?

Did it you ask this question to the seller when you test drove it before you bought it?
