Fuel Pump Cut Off Switch
I have searched and seen alot of people have done this, but i was wondering if any one knows what wire and the location to put the switch on. Ive never realy been concerned with some one stealing my truck until theother day when my roommate woke up and his truck was gone. Ive seen lots of write ups on this for cars but not any on a Dodge truck. Its for an 06 Ram 1500. Thanks

Get an alarm system.
I had an alarm system on my 04 ThunderRoad. The guy who stole it had a key made from my vin Numbers. All he did was put the key in the door ,unlock it ,start the truck and drive it away. .What Dodge doesn't tell you is if your key doesn't have the chip in it ,your screwed. It cost me $475.00 to have everything changed over to the chip in the key system. He did $16,000 damage to my other cars getting my truck out of my drive way ,Thank God for insurance. So cover your vin number with something. uote]

On September 25th 2001 in Mexico City, where an estimated 200 vehicles are stolen each day, the Ravelco Anti-Theft Device was put to the test. CESVI-MEXICO, a company owned by the seven major insurance companies in Mexico, tried to hot wire and steal a Nissan Sentra equipped with the Ravelco device.
CESVI-MEXICO said they would approve the Ravelco if it passed the 8-Minute Test, by preventing professional thieves hired for the occasion from starting the vehicle within an 8-minute timeframe. At that time, no theft device or alarm ever took more than three minutes to bypass. But after cutting wires and trying for 35 minutes to bypass and disable the Ravelco, the company's hired thieves gave up.
As a result, CESVI-MEXICO approved the Ravelco.
