I was mounting a bull bar and noticed this cable. Any thoughts?

im pretty sure it tells you if the hood is closed

 

It looks like the ambient temp sensor...This is the sensor that tells you outside temp for the overhead console.

damn i was hoping it was the hemi upgrade switch HA
too bad from whateveryones said about their Hemis mpg it sucks, i pull 18-20 on hwy and 16 avg.

Temp sensor harness, anyway. Since it isn't in the correct position, I can't tell if the sensor itself is there.
