My Last 5 Vehicles I Have Had Always Had An Optima.. Wouldn't Go Anyother Way. You'd Be Suprised How Well They Keep Charge. I Would 100% Say Its Worth It

I've had them die on me the same way a regular battery would, I don't see anything special with them

Well i found this new battery called odyessey. They are military grade. Their 1/2 the size of a regular battery. They can last a month of driving, no altenator hooked up but their $200 for the one well need. My dad got one for or trailer that replaced 2 batteries but it was $300. Ill try to find the website.

Sweet! How'd The Debadging Go?

Meet My Approval? What Happened Before??

If You Look At The TOTM Page We Had A "Salty" Truck Competition. Looks Like Shi* But That Was The Point.. Well The Toyo's Are on There.

It depends.

First the obvious: if you're gonna sell the vehicle in less than a year or two, then no.

Hoever, If your truck is exposed to a lot of vibration (i.e. offroad), the Optima is a must, in my opinion. Back in my rallying days, I went through a conventionalbattery at least once a season. After much prodding by fellow rallyists, I finally broke down and bought an Optima, and it lasted through two seasons before I stopped racing.

optimas are worth it, ESP if you live in harsh climates, here in the desert we'll get temps over 100f and temps in the teens. Hell one day it went from 86 to 35 in an 8 hour period. I haven't put one on my new truck since there's no sense in wasting a new battery. I'm interested in that military grade battery though, will do some research on it. I'd actually really like to build in an APU for my truck.
As for dead batts I paid only 50 60 bucks at autoparts store for a jump starter, good buy, has built in light, USB port, 12v dc port, think the batt is 500cca also has a built in aircompressor.
