napa I think that you would still have to change it at 3000 just because an oil clames to last that long dosent mean that the manufactuer warrenty has to agree with them. It does say in the owner manual that your oil change interval should never exceed 6000 miles in any driving condition.

in response to ramit I do plan on changing my diff fluid at 15,000 I just dont want any questions in 10 years when I tell them that they owe me a new motor or transand buy the way I'm not paying for it

no according to the book its either 3 months or 3000 miles or 6000 miles or 6 months depending on outside temp. and driving condition. but you should never exeed 6 months or 6000 miles if you want to maintain your warrenty

there's so many additives in your car when you buy it new that I do think they say like 6k or something. Its all a scam, oil profits are twice as high when they're oil is changed every 3k vs 6, also dealer****s make more the more you come in, they'll try to sell you other stuff while youre getting your oil changed there. My truck came with free oil change for a year, well that's for reg oil, so I pay the diff for synthetic. They still wanted like 60 bucks. Luckily I had it in for a rear main seal leak and when u picked it up their CPU was down so never paid for the oil change.

I have 18,000 miles on the Amsoil 0W/20 in my 05 Hemi. I will change it at 22,000 miles. It still looks good and smells like it should. When the viscosity is shot in an oil, it smell burned. I smell my dipstick as well as checking color and level. I would not think Chrysler life time warranty could deny you if you change when it is recommended by the oil manufacturer. I will check with an attorney on that. Regardless of their position, I will continue to use Amsoil. I got a half million miles out of an 86 Dodge Lancer turbo with few problems. I have 205,000 on our 99 Ram, with few problems. I will stick with what I know is the best.

Dave Mann with Performance Technology is my new distributor the past three years and has never led me wrong. My old distrubutor died and I found Dave through research. He is the tops in my book.

as long as you follow chrysler service interviles, than it dosent matter what oil you use, but, mobil one will pay for it's self in performance, milage and is just a better oil than dino, you get what you pay for.

I don't know much abought this lifetime warenty, it came into effect after I bought my 06 Ram and I don't beleave lifetime warenty applies to Canada, most likely a 400 000 mile engine is going to be proo rated, doctor dodge don't give any thing away for free ...
