Default Check Gauges light

4 mornings in a row last week my check gauges light would come on when I went out to warm up the truck. It would only do it in the morning when the truck had been sitting over night. I would let the truck warm up for about 10 minutes (as usual), then when I was ready to leave I would restart the engine and the light would go out. 4 hours later I'd leave work for lunch, and at the end of the day the light would NOT come on. But the following morning it would. Has anyone else had this happen? Today it didn't do it. The truck does not exibit any other issues.

Did you check you gauges? The last time mine came on the oil pressure gauge had bottomed out. I had a oil sending unit go bad and when the gauge bottomed out the check gauges light would come on.

Every time it comes on, there is no visible malfunction of any of the dash gauges.

This happened to me once a few weeks ago.I turned my truck on, and the check gauges light was on. I looked at all my gauges, and they were all ok, I turned my truck off and on again and the light didn't come back on. I have no idea what it was, but it seems to be running fine and I've had no problems.
