How many miles between oil changes
Its what dodge recommends for cold starts. plus I have heared from people who have tried higher viscositys that the mds dont function correctly and they loose fuel mileage

I thought the 03-05 Rams are non MDS so why would that matter?
I received a notice from the dealer to get it in at 3000 miles but my service book that they told me to stick to say 6000 miles. I'm going with 3000 miles for now.... I still have yet to break the 900 mile mark so far.
We just bought a new Honda Accord and Honda said to Definately NOT change the oil the first time until 6K as they add special additives that they want to stay until 6K.

i am with ya, most oil at 3000 has a lot of life left in it.

yeah I see it now, on my iPhone, but last night on desktop said Dana soft where the tea bag comment normally is.
