Default Bigger Tire concerns

I have an '05 Daytona, i have the factory body kit on it and when it comes time for new tires i wanted to either stay with the stock 33s and just go wider to 305s...or maybe go a little bigger than 33. I think it will look fine with 33s and just going wider to 305, but i think it might look weird, if i went to say 34s because of the body kit. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of a Daytona with larger than stock tires.

Thanks

When going with the 33's were you gonna keep the stock 20's?
What are your plans with the truck? lift or drop?
If you lift it,I would suggest romve the ground effects kit.I just wouldn't look right.

Why wouldn't it look ok with a leveling kit with the ground effects on? I have the same truck and am planning on doing the same thing with the 2.5" level kit and I am sure it will look fine. Just because it has a little front skirt and small side skirts doesn't mean you can't lift it or level it! I will post a pic when I get it done for you to see what I am running. And 305's don't look that big on the stock size wheels, unlessyour newwheels have more positive offset than the stock ones the 305's don't look that much bigger, but they are a step in the right direction.

305/50/20 will make you quicker because they're "only" 32 inches, or an inch shorter than stock. That translates to a half inch less ground clearance and a nice kick in the pants from the effective gearing change.

Aren't 305s about 32.8"? I don't wanna go smaller, i either want to go a little taller or stay the stock size and just go wider. It's just that i have seen other trucks with skirts on it lifted with bigger tires and i just thought they looked a little odd, i haven't seen a daytona with bigger tires though. That is why i am concerned with bigger tires.

With a leveling kit it should look OK.I thought you were gonna go with an all out lift.
