Agreed, for a clean 4x4 with that low mileage the price is on the better side of average, a plus if you can get them down a grand or two.
My personal favorite is the '04 & '05s, as I am not a big fan of MDS on a truck and the PCM has much better tuner support than the '03s...

wow, low miles. to me, it sounds like a very, very fair price. you can alway knock off more though. do the negotiating and youll get it. check the transmission. check all fluid levels. check under the hood for everything. check under the truck for rust and anything that seems loose. check the brakes. check the tires. check the registration. make sure registration is up to date trust me on this, we just got screwed out of $3,000 for registration when we bought yet another dump truck. guy didnt register for a year and we had to pay his registration even though i made him give us the money for it. lol. yeah, check all that man.

In 06 they introduced MDS into the 1500 Hemi engine, a system that shuts 4 of the 8 cylinders down when the computer senses they are not needed. A gas saving feature. You'll find some love it, some are indifferent, some hate it. I personally am no fan of it in a truck, maybe a car or family type 2wd SUV, but not a truck. Also the front end went from a torsion bar system to a coil over system. I think the hiway ride is better but the off road ride is a bit soft for my liking on the coil overs.
I think the rest is little cosmetic things like the front end and headlights.
I'm sure it would be wiser to get the newest vehicle that you could afford, I'm just a big fan of the 04 & 05, mainly because of my feelings on MDS...
