Coopers?
anybody heard anything about the Cooper Zeon LTZ tires? the reviews i read said they were great in rain and mud, wore great, and didnt hurt gas milage. on discount tires they are 189. they look good too. any thoughts?

I don't offroad either but these haven't been stopped by anything I've run into. They're so much better tire than the stockers!
The only worry I have is that they apparently discontinued the 305 width, meaning if I ever need one or two replacement tires I can't find them.

i picked up a set back in october to replace the OEM tires...much better traction. there is more road noise from these tires due to the aggressive tread pattern but you will get used to it.i haven't used them off-road. my gas mileage has gone down a little bit however that could be attributed to the winter gas mixture and the more local driving i'm doing nowadays.
Yah, I bought mine from discount tire last month Jan 2008. They are awesome. On the road they have a really good grip, especially in the rain. I've taking them trailing, non mud surface and i stayed in 2wd the whole time. Um, i tried them out at the beach, and they are AWESOME in the sand. Stayed in 2wd compared to street tires, i would have been in 4wd the whole time. I would buy them if i were you.
Yeah, I have been planning on getting these for a while. Cant beat the price or the reviews. Just waiting on the stock ****years to wear out... not jumping at the thought of spending $1000 right now lol.
