hello i am looking for some specs for the OEM 20" chrome rims
i am looking for the offset +/- and backspacing on these wheels??

I've not been able to confirm this, but I'd say the offset of a stock wheel MUST be 0. The backspace is probably 4 1/2" to maybe 5".

 

so what does an offset of 18 mean?

 

If it's +18, it means the mounting surface of the wheel on the hub is 18mm outside the wheel's centerline (or the centerline is 18mm inside the mounting surface). I don't know if that's bad or not. I would think it could affect handling significantly. If it's -18, the centerline of the wheel is 18 mm outside the mounting surface. That is very hard on the wheel bearings. My DC-1s have a -12mm offset, meaning their mounting surface is 12mm outside the hub. Hopefully, that isn't too much to cause bearing problems. The good side of that is the truck's track is 24 mm wider than stock. That combined with the sway bar sure makes him handle better.

 

so best bet is to try and find something close to 0?

 

well whatever. throw some black KMC XD series hoss black and wrap them in 35x13.5 20 MT ATZ's and ill be fine.
