Amsoil and Mobil1 are good oils. RP is fine, just a little spendy for my blood.

I use amsoil and am very happy.

Search for the most commonly discussed topics, there are a ton of polls and threads on this.

RP and Amsoil are the main TRUE synthetics..... Mobil 1 is still a great oil, however

This has been hashed out before in great detail.....Use the search feature and you will have your answers.

Before you get your ***** broken for posting without searching, when looking at an oil, two main things to compare, its flash point temp (higher the better), and the ball bearing wear test (least mm change the better) compare amsoil to any oils. I've got a poll out about how long between oil changes.

No prob, some places won't and some will let you bring in your own oil. do you have a 2wd or 4wd truck? If its 4wd you can get under it yourself, if its 2wd just drive the driver or passenger front tire up on a curb and that should give you enough clearance to get under there.

I use amsoil oil that's rated at 25k miles, they sell a 7500 mile oil as well.
