Couple GOOD Question???
I have another question, I recently posted a problem I was having with my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi, it would run rough after setting for a while then die out. Then it would crank but not fire. Wait 10 minutes come back out the thing would purr like a kitten without a problem. I took it to a dealer today they said the TB needed cleaned and the Map sensor need replaced. I got a MAP sensor and I plan on taking the throttle body off tonight a cleaning it. The check engine light never came on. Here are my questions.
If I pull the TB off is the gasket reusable,
Should I reset the pcm??? To erase any stored codes the Map sensor was storing. If so how, I read one thread were they said to remove the PCM fuse with the battery still connected is this true? And how do I correctly reset the PCM
Finally I don’t have keys that have the transmitter in them, By resetting the PCM will this screw anything up?[/ol]
Thanks again
