which nerf bar is the best for the money?
which nerf bar is the best for the money? I hear westin chrome from some and others say go with a stainless steel from another manufacturer for less money. what is your opinion?
nice one Tankz.
why are you wanting nerf bars on a 2wd stock height truck? unless youre shorter than 5ft 5inch theres no need, just get your pants cuff dirty. Ive got a stock 4x4 and i sure as hell wont put nerfs on em, im fixing to get it leveled and seriously doubt i would get them after that. now if i add a 3inch body lift after the leveling then yeah ill be getting some, but i like the redneck steps.

i picked up a set of used ( look like new ) nasta brand bars for under a hundred on craigs list. they look good and work fine on my stock 08 1500 qc. i think they look good on the truck and more importantly my 6 and 10 year old daughters can get in the truck alot easier.
Check out this site.. I ordered chrome Westins from here they were the cheapest i could find..

eBay's here. Weight wise my bars have been put to the test. Gave a lady a ride home the other day, upwards in the 300 lb region, she used the step bars as she was trying to squeeze into the truck, really had me worried, but they held up fine. They've seen some salt and snow, but I've only had them for about 5 months now and time will tell how well they hold up. So far so good though, and at $150 shipped, I'm not complaining....
