Throttle Body Spacer
I suppose it depends on what engine your truck has (4.7 ? 5.7 ? 5.9? CTD ?)....I've not tried one, but all I hear from the good folk on this forum is that they are junk...paperweights, a waste of money (thus, I've not even bothered to try one)....
Really depends on the engine, or I guess the design of the throttle body itself. I've seen the dyno's on a '98 Chevy a few years back show almost as much gains as a CAI, but nobody reports any gains on a Hemi and it supposedly makes a god awful whistling noise on the Hemi as well.
I read a post on another Dodge forum about a year or so ago where the guy supposedly dyno'd his '05 before and after where it actually showed a slight LOSS of performance...

I think I read a post or two up, that gains from a throttle body spacer can basically only be achieved by a certain type of throttle body. So my question is, what is it about our throttle bodies (maybe intake manifold design?) that makes it moot to install a spacer?
ok. sounds good. wont wast my money on that then. lol. thanks alot guys and how do you get the stars up next to your name?
