Hemi VS Tundra
yeah that's my point, now I dont use the truck for work seeing that I dont work, but I'll take it off road, I help build decks for some friends that build decks, I take it down 40-60 miles of 4x4 only beach several times a month when its warm.
Probably depends on driver, options and aftermarket. I did a similar compare with a local toyo dealer with my Hemi vs an iforce 5.7. Also included a mini-autox. Consistently, the toyo outperformed mine, especially the handling!!
0-60 times were close, the toyo edged it out, less then a second.
My ram stopped a lot quicker though!
Over all
Straight line: I'd like to say a tie
and wish we could have done a 1/4mile.
Handling: -Ram
Stopping: +Ram

there's been a couple of times here latley when some smug tundra driver has tried to cut me off with that look in their eyes that i should give way! i know it's to heavy to race but so far no tundra has been able to cut the 'ol mega cab off! TUNDRA DRIVERS ARE DITCH DIVERS! LOL megacab rules the road!
The 2wdRCSB tundra 5.7's haul ***...here'sa 07running a 14.2 at 97mph stock. http://youtube.com/watch?v=KrRlDCIZDvs That's damn near a full second faster and 8-10mph quicker then a 2wdRCSB hemi. I'm sure it really is stock since the aftermarket is very slim for them right now. They have more power and a more efficent drivetrain...but with the aftermarket dodge and chevy have i'm not worried.
No...no it's not. Driver error does always play a role but the tundra driver would have to light up the tires at the launch to lose. Anything can happen in a street race but with equal drivers a stock ram will lose....and lose bad.
