Hemi VS Tundra
ORIGINAL: SeVeReDiStOrTiOn
I didn't call you a liar...if I didI would've said you're a liar and not BS'd around it. I said anything can happen on the street and it would take driver error for a stock Hemi to beat a equally equipped stock5.7 Tundra. I'm sure my RCSB 2wd Hemi could walk a 4 door 4x4 Tundra but that's not equally euipped.
You didn't write this in your previous post? Here, I will highlight where you made you point without calling me a " liar! "
No...no it's not. Driver error does always play a role but the tundra driver would have to light up the tires at the launch to lose. Anything can happen in a street race but with equal drivers a stock ram will lose....and lose bad.
Maybe you'll lose bad! I guess you live up to your "avatar name"....

BTW, letting off before you get passed is a ricer move....if you're going to do that you might as well put your hazards onto top it off. You can't blame high speeds forletting offwhen the fastest you went on the freeway was 70....hell I drive around 75 on the freeway and i'm not even racing. You're scared of a speeding ticket but you're not scared of getting your truck impounded and being arrested for street racing? Doesn't make sense...but what does make sense is you let off because he was going to pass you and you didn't want to lose.

Lol!! That wasn't my experience... And yes, equal drivers the Tundra would win! But don't call me a liar and say he would have to roast his tires for a hemi to win! Because that wasn't the case with me...

First contradiction: (No...no it's not). "Ok, it's not all in the driver."
Second contradiction: (Driver error does always play a role but the tundra driver would have to light up the tires at the launch to lose).
Third contadiction to the first sentence: Anything can happen in a street race but with equal drivers a stock ram will lose....and lose bad.
Is it just me, or can you not make up your mind??? Which is it? No, yes, maybe, who knows?
Proof read what you post before you post it, before you go busting *****!!!
Also, judging by the lead I had on him (not much), I would estimate atleast 80-85mph before we would be head-to-head! Anything after that, I would give the Tundra the win; but who knows!
Good point, why you shouldn't street race as I said in my OP!

2. Ok follow me here....are you still tracking? Ok, when i said "driver error does always play a role" I was speaking as a broad statement for drag racing in general. Even my LS1 maro would lose to a 16 sec car if I couldn't drive for ****.
3. Again, saying "anything can happen in astreet race" isn't a contradiction to anything....it's actually backing up what I said about "drvivers error does always play a role". There's a lot more room for driver error on the street due to more variables (no prep for the asphalt, most are on street tires, roads vary...etc). It's funny how you pick out parts of quotes to suit your state of mind...but if you actually read the whole quote you might see what i'm saying.
See, this is what happens when you talk to someone that has ADD and pulls ricer moves. From what I can tell you have never even been to a track.
If this race is at a track, and say you truck does have more than the Tundra, then you have a chance...But make sure you have good reaction time, that can make a world of difference...I have seen guys lose a race just because of reaction time alone...A lot of it does have to do with the driver...Are you a first time racer? Or have you done it before? Who knows their truck better? In all honesty, take your truck to a few street legal races at the track and learn your truck before you go ahead and race this guy...
That's jsut my 2 cents...

We have some crazy *** 1/4 mile diesel trucks up here...Go to NADP's August Blackout and you get to see some amazing trucks...NADP has a common rail that eats sports cars and leaves them asking "What was that that jsut left me standing still?"
