I own a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. I have a couple of modification but nothing on the engine or tranny. On several occasions now, I put my truck in reverse and there is no response on the truck. I literally put the truck in gear and there is no response on the truck, I have to park the truck and move the gear again to reverse. Is it me or should I just take my truck to the dealership and have it checked out? Keep in mind this only happens once in awhile. Please do no tell me that I am dumn for waiting around. Thank You.

 

once in a while, my truck slips out of park. like, theres no box around the 'R.' so i just throw it into N then back into R. it happens to me about once every 2-3 months. something that i dont even mind. but if its often enough to you, go to the dealer. youre still under warranty since we both have 07's. they usually 'know it all.' well, my dealer is great. they get every problem fixed. big or small. so i like going to them. great service too. i hope that helped.
