Has anyone tried this product yet? All anything talks about is better track times, but does it do anything for the mpg?

RE: Vararam Hemi Under Glass Air Intake
it looks cool but i don't think it has the same positives as some other intakes that are available...the biggest issue that I see with this intake is the intake tubes going to the filter...the reason to get an aftermarket intake to add power is mainly to get rid of the hose between the throttle body and the air filter...havinga regular pipe should make more power/MPG because the air isn't "bouncing" around in the intake pipe...if this makes sense lol...yeah it's cool but i don't think it's quite as good as some others that are out there

So it would be best to just go with a K&N then?

Sometimes simple is best and that is why I put the Trueflow on my truck. It works as good or better than most.

Yup I agree...easy access and and lack of clutter in the engine bay is what it's all about for me. I'm thinking shortie wires and a trueflow should help a lot..

RE: Vararam Hemi Under Glass Air Intake
It will not improve MPG
and there are several modifications you could do
that would really improve MPG
for the price of that

If you want a second opinion
notice that the 2009 Ram has more than two dozen
MPG improving mods...but not a CAI

2009 Ram does 'breathe better'
but the mods were
variable valve timing
and a switching length intake manifold runner length
