Default Ram Vs Tundra

Come on guys do you really buy in to TV commercials that fetcher car Vs car. And do you think that Toyota will make a commercial and have a Ram out perform their truck, what about Dodge / Ford / Chevy. I don’t think so. It comes down to vehicle preference in this country and then it’s my truck is better then yours. Reading the forum almost every day and seeing are problems that we have is more of a concern then a TV commercial. I like reading that a Hemi strip down a Tundra from traffic light to traffic light it is almost like a TV commercial for Dodge. To end my blabbering on I have a question to all. What percentage of your truck is made in this country. In 2002 75% of my truck parts was made in the USA. This is parts not assembly.

Uh there's already too many ram vs x threads, no need to start a new one with an unoriginal thought.

Funny you should say that. Everytime I see those commercials, I laugh. Most of Toyota's points are illogical for a truck for real truck use. On top of this, a commercial is hardly an objective source (this is coming from a person with a Marketing degree). They will never admit any areas where they may not be the best, so I think big deal about their points, though they are effective commercials.

Don’t know any thing about $5 dollar ****** but your right it uses gas. As far as options come, the Hemi was not a option in 02 so like most of you, I did not settle for something smaller.
And what I can afford and can’t afford has nothing to do with this forum but I will tell you this daddy did not buy my truck for me buckeye!! Tamuccmike I guess the TV commercials are for people like you. And what’s the big deal about a 180 degree thermostat. What I was trying to say is were the badge was made is more important then were it is placed.
