Default Back Lamps Wiring

Recieved My Recon Back Up Lamps Today. They Look Pretty Tough!

I Am Wiring Up My Backup Lamps - Going To Make A DIY On It.. Still Not Sure What I Want To Do. I Already Mounted Them, But Not Sure How I Want To Wire Them.

How Should I Wire Them: On A Switch? Or Just Run Them To Turn on In Reverse??? The DIY Is For You Guys So I Want To Hear Your Input.

I say switch. I used them ALL the time when not actually in reverse.

Hooking up trailers, pulling people out, loading crap in trailers, trying to see at the campsite, etc etc

at least a switch, just makes more sense, both obv would be best.

The best reason to have it on a switch is you can blind the ***got in the civic that's behind you.
I find it rather amusing when I cut someone off they get up real close to "intimidate" you, too bad you can't even see them in your rearview. Even better when they're that close and they flash their lights at night and you just see a faint glow.

The more I think about it, I think you go with the switch. If it was me I would put my switch under the dash or some where out of sight, I just don't like cutting up my dash.

Wire them so that come on with the reverse lights, and also a switch alone if needed.

You'll just need a relay for that.
