i bought my truck used and it came with aftermarket remote start but the dealer only had the aftermarket remote start and not the one from factory.

When I bought my remote starter they had to program it to the truck.

 

Get one at the dealership. It's some where around $100 - $150, but you will know it's right.

So, are you looking to replace the aftermarket remote start with a factory one?? If all he had was the aftermarket remote start, there shouldn't be a problem.
