Okay, I'm finally going to do my exhaust! I am installing a Cherry Bomb Extreme SI/DO muffler. My questions is, should I remove BOTH resonators, or should I keep the front one on to help keep down the cab drone???? Does it even matter??

I know there are a bunch of you guys who has the Cherry Bomb Extreme, which way did you go? How about all other muffler installs, take out all resos? Just one??

Would love all opinions!

 

It is up to you. How loud do you want it? I have magnaflow, and I onlywent with one.

 

I only had one - the rear one. I left it on and get a nice deep mellow rumble.

 

I only had one and removed it.

Nice tone w/ Flowmaster single out.

most have removed the rear res and thats what i keep hearing too. so i say take off the rear res! lol. pics coming soon?

 

I want it to be noticeable, with a nice rumble to it, doesn't have to be obnoxiously loud.

Just one? Am I mistaken in thinking there is a resonator under the cab, a (huge) muffler, and a second resonator to wards the back???

So, all you have underneath is a flowmaster? Again, am I mistaken about having 2 resos??

yeah, looks like keeping the front reso on and removing the stock muffler and rear reso is the way to go. absolutely pics will come as soon as I get it done!

I also have the magnaflow, but i removed both. it sounded way better than with just one.

 

I'm all stock and never had any resonators to start with just one GIANT muffler.

Take them all off

 

I left the front resonator on with my magnaflow and am very happy with the sound.........my vote is to leave the front on.
