K bro's I need some help.... I have some wifey issues with letting me get a muffler and I need some feed back on the best muffler I can use on my stock 3" pipe ....that willsound close to stock at idle and low rmps but open up on wot ...if there is even anything like that... Any info would be great thanks guys

 

If you put on a cutout you could close it and be stock quiet whenever you wanted. Then when you open it up it's very loud.

 

I have a magnaflow on mine. Gives a nice rumble when you get on it, and at idle, don't really notice it at all.

 

check out the flowmaster 70 series

 

a magnaflow with the rear resonator left on will do what you want. That is how i had mine origanlly. quiet at idle and cruising. good tone when you get on it and accelerate. also, No drone

 

what type of magnaflow muffler?

 

Magnaflow's just come in different sizes. not numbers like a flowmaster. If you go to your local muff shop and tell them you want a magnaflow, they will put the right one on.

 

Had the same problem with my wife. Went with magnaflow, and she love's it.

 

Not to sound like a dick....but ummmm..... why in the **** are you letting your wives dictate your muffler......thats where the line should be drawn......

if i were you to teach her a lesson I'd put mechanical dumps after cat and open em when shes riding with you so she is defened and reminded of who makes the muffler decisions in the relationship lol
