Default Seatbelt Tension

Does anyone know if it is possible to tighen the seatbelt retraction? When I get out I have to help it retract or it will flop loose and get closed in the door.

I have this problem on the drivers side but my wife doesn't on the passenger side. I don't know if it is because I use my seatbelt so much and the passenger side rarely does or if it is due to use?

But it is still a problem in the 2006's.

I sure hope someone has the answer for this. I love my dodge but I've noticed a few little things like this with truck's interior. My F-150 developed this same annoying problem but that was after 150,000 miles....my dodge has 16,000.

This must be a common issue based on the small number of people who read this post and the high number who have the same issue.

Good question... I mostly have it happen on the passenger side, which is hardly used! Go figure???

It's annoying too! Especially when someone gets out of the truck and doesn't re-align it and you start driving off with a clunking noice against your door...
