I cant complain about the wear on mine Hammer. I have put around 30k on my set and still have over half tread on them. they wear suprisely good for a mud tire..
Yea, Mickey/Cepek's have always had a super reputation for great performance and well above average longevity. I put my first set (33" Mickey MTX's) on a Jeep Wrangler in '94 and have not purchased from another company (except for the ex's Grand Cherokee's tires) since.
I had a set of 33" MTX's on my current truck from the second week after I took it home from the dealer until I lifted it at 29k and they still easily had 80% tread on them when I pulled them in favor of my 35" FCII's after the lift. The current meats have just over 10k on them and could still just about pass for new.
The huge bias ply Baja Claws dominate the rock crawler crowd and probably are a strong #2 to boggers in the mudder circles and I see a lot of 38"+ Bias Fun Country's on the weekend play/hunting guys trucks, but frankly, I'm shocked that I don't see tons more Mickey or Cepek radials on everyday trucks. IMO nothing beats them for performance and wear...

I was thinkin my next set will be the claws or the Hecules Trail Digger M/T's.. I have heard good things about those. I looked at swampers but those just to expensive and wear way to fast. All the off roading and what not I have done never a puncture never a flat I cant believe they are that well built ofa tire and I am hard on them.

33's can fit without a leveling kit and I am told 34's too, but that seems a little too close. I would suggest the leveling kit. I just got mine and my truck seems to ride like it should have riden all along.
pmd you

Baja Claws are my dream tire. They wear surprisingly well on pavement for how aggressive they are. I've personally seen a guy cross a stream on a rocky shale bed that chewed up EVERYONE else's tiresand be the only one to make it a full day without a flat. Nearly the mud capability of boggers with much better trail and pavemant handling. The only real flaw is that they are not the best tire on wet pavement as they sacrifice any siping for block strength. Oh and they are probably also the loudest tire on the market next to boggers (although this could be viewed by some as a positive trait)...
