upgrades 545rfe??
Ok well you all know how much i say I hate autos yet here i have found myself in love with an 08 ram 1500 slt big horn qcsb4x4 with hemi and auto in the new sunburst orange color. I wanted to loook at it test drove it loved it. tons of power tranny felt good. but I do wanna know if over time the tranny starts to wear out what aftermarket options are out there if any? I dunno this thing is drawing me in. It's a really nice truck. all the power options premium bench seat trailer two group. nothing crazy. wish it had protection group (skid plates) but that's really it. has a power rear sliding window (which as baller as **** lol) and remstart (baller as **** as well) I dunno man I feel like a guy that's fallen in love with a women you know will get you in trouble lol. but you just can't stop.
they did have a sport model as well but it was a bit pricey. 40k since it had dvd nav and a sunroof. neither of which I want. since one I can put a dvd nav in for cheap because of my work and two replacing stuff audio wise with factory premium is a bitch so i'd rather have the standard audio package. so that one was off the list.

There are more and more tranny parts available every day. from complete 800 hp capable complete trannys to shift kits to stall converters, you can beef one to the hilt if you so chose!

The3rd gen rams have more reliable transmissions than the 2nd gen rams did. When i bought my 1995 ram everybody told me i would be spending a lot of money on fixing the transmission. That didnt turn out to be true...Iperformed the scheduledmaintenanceand had no problems but i heardsome horror stories fromother guys. Fromwhat i read the newer rams havea lot less transmissionsproblems. I havent had any problems with my 3rd gen
I'm looking at getting this and i'm gonna call a dealer to see if they still have a truck i was looking at before. It's a rcsb 4x4 1500 slt with 4.7L and six speed. 2008. electric blue real nice. if they still have that i'm gonna get that. I shoudl be able to negotiate fairly good cuz i'm prolly gonna finance it through my parents. they have a credit card that has a 50k dollar limit and 5 % interest for life. plus it gives 5% back on all purchases toward a car. so they are gonna let me put the truck on that card and then basically pay them the same as the payment. prolly about 300 a month or more. it's just the same as a regular finance my parents are nice but if i don't pay they will take it away just like a repo so it's not like they be spoiling me or nething it's still my mula. they figure hey he puts truck here gets good interest we get **** load of rebates fora new car everyone wins. so i figure if i'm like hey i'll give you this cash basically right now no finance worries and we done. they should be pretty willing to say yea. if I can't get that truck i'm gonna get the hemi i talked about earlier. we shall see gonna call that dealer tommorrow and see.
i'm hoping I know i can afford it and financing through my parents is great because i can just tell the dealer hey no financing issues just this same as cash basically so i'm hoping it'll be good. it'll be hard i'm gonna have to really budget my spending but I think in reality i'll be really happy driving this thing down the road. I mean hell i work full time adn school full time and i'm working on a 4.0 this year so if I wanna buy myself a truck why not. will keep it updated tommorrow after I call that dealer.

Good luck getting a dealer to let you buy a vehicle with a credit card. All the dealers I have been to had maximums of <$2000 for CC transactions relating to vehicle purchases. It is a liability thing. If you can, good for you. Hope you enjoy your truck and keep studing hard.
well we won't do it with card it also has no penalty or limit for cash advance. we'll just get cash advance for the amount of vehicle deposit it into a bank account and get a certified check.
